Pudding Monsters
Pudding Monsters is a simple puzzle journey where you need to drag and merge puddings. Overcome obstacles, collect stars and be creative to win.
Explore dangerous obstacles
To overcome the challenges, you must overcome many dangerous obstacles, especially by using your creativity to think strategically. Your task when playing is to drag and merge small pudding blocks to create giant monsters, strong enough to overcome the dining table. Completing the level helps unlock higher levels from which you can completely break the record. Explore the obstacles below to avoid timely reflexes. Similar to Pudding Monsters, Blocky Blast brings an attractive puzzle experience with a series of creative levels.
- Wall immovable blocks: cells cannot move, blocking the direct path, especially since they have a limited direction of movement, forcing you to reroute. Use the wall as a brake to pull the pudding close to the wall to stop exactly at the desired position.
- Boxes can be pushed: blocks can be pushed along the cell; they are sometimes used to cover holes or trigger switches. Pushing the box 1 or more cells will change the space to move.
- Smooth surface: as the pudding runs up, it will slide continuously until it meets an obstacle, such as groove blocks. Match the pudding before sliding if you need to change the center of gravity length to stop at a different position.
Tips to get enough 3 stars
Set the star target first: identify the stars in difficult positions and plan for the final blob to cover those cells.
- Match the last step at the right time: usually you want to keep a small pudding as bait and use a large blob to cover 2 stars, then drag the bait in to get the remaining star.
- Avoid losing pudding: losing 1 pudding can make it impossible to get 3 stars. Just complete the level safely first and then come back to hunt for stars.
Strategy to conquer every level
To become a master in Pudding Monsters, you not only need to understand the rules of the game but also know how to strategize properly for each level. Below is a set of comprehensive strategies from basic to advanced, helping you overcome every level and hunt for 3 stars more easily.
Understand the goal of each level
Not every level just needs to match pudding, many levels require:
- Cover 3 stars.
- Activate switches or special mechanisms.
- Avoid falling off the edge of the table.
- Always look at the map overview before starting to move.
Plan the path before swiping
- Think three steps ahead: don't just consider the first move, but also visualize the outcome of the entire chain of moves.
- Remember: the pudding only stops when it encounters an obstacle and uses obstacles as walls or supports
- If there are many puddings, determine the order of moves: usually the less important pudding will need to be rolled first, the main pudding will be joined later.
- Walls and boxes: used asgoals to stop accurately.
- Smooth ice: anticipate the sliding distance, join the pudding before going on the ice for easy control.
- Switch & gate: sometimes need to sacrifice a small pudding to keep the switch open.
- Fan & conveyor belt: turn into a tool to move the pudding to hard-to-reach places.
